You will have heard via the media that hospital waiting times are at an all-time high.

Sussex hospitals are in exactly this position.

For example the average waiting times for appointments with Cardiology are on average 30 weeks, 27 weeks for Orthopaedics, 56  weeks for Colorectal, 40 weeks for Gynaecology and 32 weeks for ENT referrals.

The list goes on.

We appreciate this can be frustrating for our patients who are waiting for appointments, but unfortunately there is very little the surgery can do about it.

Please do not contact the practice to ask that your referral is expedited unless there has been a genuine change in your circumstances. By this we mean your symptoms have become significantly worse.
