Henfield Medical Centre (HMC) is a training and dispensing practice operating in Henfield. The practice is mainly rural and has a growing population due to local development. We operate from a well-equipped, purpose built premises and offer a range of primary care services.

Our friendly team consists of 3 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs and 1 Practice Manager. We employ a team of nurses, including an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Practitioners’ as well as Health Care Assistants offering phlebotomy and health clinics. We work closely with the Community Nurses, Health Visitors and Midwives are supported by a team of ancillary staff.

The Practice consistently achieves high on the Quality and Outcomes Framework, and is committed to running Enhanced Services offered by NHS Sussex ICB and the full range of Locally Commissioned Services.

When we send out any other text messages it ill show up as from 'Henfield GP' as the sender. However, if you have any doubt please do call us

We would like to inform you that generic email addresses are essential for the safety of both patients and staff. Many of our staff members do not work full time and are entitled to take annual leave. We would hate to cause you frustration if we did not respond to you in a timely manner. It is Henfield Medical Centre policy that only emails submitted to generic email addresses will be responded to, as soon as we are able. If you send an email directly to an employee, by using their personal email address these will be deleted and not responded to. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation to this matter.

We are closed on bank holidays.

Dispensary

The Dispensary is open Monday - Friday between 09:00 - 18:00.    

Please allow 7 working days from ordering to collection of medication from the dispensary. Henfield Medical Centre receives over 80 prescription requests per day so it is important that you allow enough time for us to process the request and in some circumstances order your medication in. Please do not walk in and request repeat medication to be issued on demand.
