Transport Link Service

The Henfield Medical Centre Link ( or The Link as it is generally known ) provides transport to hospital, dental and medical centre appointments for people in Henfield, Partridge Green and the surrounding villages who do not have other transport available to them. It is available to all local patients, whether within or outside NHS treatment, and it also serves the Woodlawn surgery in Partridge Green.

Please ONLY telephone between:

Monday to Friday

09:00 – 13:00

Ideally they would like at least 5 days’ notice for pre booked appointments. If you leave a message and do not receive a reply within 24 hours please contact anther coordinator on the list.

The coordinators are:

Diana Halsey

01273 757 834

Jackie Hudson

 01273 493 516

Donations are requested to cover drivers' petrol costs, currently £15 for hospitals in Worthing, Southlands, Brighton and Haywards Heath, £3 for Henfield Medical Centre and Henfield dentists, and appropriate amounts for other locations and longer journeys.

The Link is run independently but has the support of the Medical Centre. There are three coordinators who operate from their own homes, and who organise volunteer drivers for each request. Please telephone one of them when you need transport, giving as much notice as possible and preferably during normal office hours. Please tell the coordinator if you would like to bring a companion or a walking frame with you, or if you need a wheelchair. Also if you have a blue disabled badge, please bring it with you.
