DIABETES CLINIC

Diabetes Clinic

All diabetics who are not regularly monitored at the hospital will be invited to attend this clinic annually.  Progress should be carefully monitored to reduce the long term risks associated with diabetes, such as heart disease and deteriorating eyesight.

If you have an annual diabetic check you are also able to book an appointment via systmonline.

 

 

 

Asthma

Asthma & Spirometry Clinic

We have a trained asthma Nurse who holds frequent clinics.  Regular monitoring of asthmatics is recommended and you are advised to make an appointment at the surgery. You will receive an annual review invite if you are known to have Asthma. 

 

 

 

 

MINOR OPERATIONS

Minor Operation

The Surgery has a well-equipped treatment room and some of the Partners are trained in a range of minor surgical procedures. One of the partners has had special training in the hospital Dermatology department.  Appointments for a minor operation will only be made after an initial consultation with one of the doctors.

 

 

 

 

PASSPORT TO HEALTH

Passport to Health Clinic

This clinic is by invitation via letter or text. The clinic is run by a HCA anfd primarily it deals with cholesterol levels but involves assessing risk of heart disease and giving lifestyle education as well a monitoring treatment.

If you are part of the Passport to Health Scheme you are also able to book an appointment via systmonline.

 

 

 

 

NURSE

Coil Fitting

This service is available at the surgery. Ladies considering a coil will need to collect a swab kit from reception and once returned they will be added to the waiting list and will be contacted once an appointment is available.

This service is available at the surgery. Ladies considering an implant will need to let a member of the reception team know or submit an eConsult and they will be added to a waiting list and contacted once an appointment is available.
